Supporting Prep for Prep’s Institute for Entrepreneurship

This summer, the Prep for Prep Institute for Entrepreneurship (IFE) program is going virtual —and I’ll be a mentor for the students as they prepare their business plans.

Prep for Prep develops ethical and effective leaders who reflect our diverse society for the enduring benefit of all.

Prep's IFE program is a virtual five-week intensive introduction to the world of entrepreneurship and technology for rising 10th-12th graders.  All students will be introduced to fundamental business/marketing and technology/coding principles at the start of the program, and then will concentrate in one of two functional areas for the remaining weeks:

  • Business Plan students will learn basic business and economic concepts, how to create their own business plan, and how to bring a business idea from concept to reality

  • Technology students will learn basic front-end coding and app/web development. Students will then be placed into a startup team in which they'll work together to develop and pitch tech-based businesses.

I’m really excited to be supporting these talented students this summer. More information about Prep for Prep can be found their website.
